I dont know why im still so dumb when i got 4 wisdom teeth growing in my mouth right now.

Im going under GA to remove all 4 of them next wed. will be hospitalised for one night.

actually, im feeling a bit down right now.

i have been at M bench learning how to handle 5 analysers at one go. its a big jump from processing because usually people go up in this way.

reception --> processing --> Iris --> Centaur --> Advia --> Integra

thats it. dont ask me why the analysers have names nicer than mine. ask the germans.

this is my way of climbing so far.

reception --> Iris --> processing --> M (Kryptor, Immulite, ECI, Elecsys, 950) --> Integra

No one has been moved to M so far except for the senior staff. Im intimidated by the 5 analysers everyday.

Im very happy at M even though theres quite a bit to pick up because ive been around nicer people. I feel encouraged when people tell me that im doing well so far.

Sometimes, all it takes is one person to bering you down.

THE boss asked me this today after i told her that i cant handle the bench alone next week (ive only been trained for one week).

950 is going soon. elecsys and kryptor are so easy to run,

you need TWO weeks to learn immulite alone?

if there is a sound for the shattering of my confidence, it must have been deafening at that point.
when you are running a bench, running is defined by everything from QC to maintainance and saving your own ass when these things fail on you. and may the force be with you when the analysers give you shit all at the same time. nice colleagues can only help you that much because they got their own bench to clear.

ull then need a dice to throw to help you decide which one to troubleshoot first.

damn. im just not a fast learner.

and i think the whole of chem hates me now because the new roster has to be reshuffled because of my surgery.
