concert

listening to jay - fantasy album

muahaha.. jay's concert rawks big time!!! finally have the time to blog about the concert..

26/11
jay's concert is simply fantastic! cs and i went for the concert last friday.. we reached kallang station at about 740 pm.. when we came out of the station, it was total chaos (no no.. im not exaggerating).. there was a horrible traffic jam involving lots and lots of cabs with the red 'hired' lights lit.. cs and i didnt know the way to the stadium so we decided to follow the huge crowd that was walking in the same direction.. cs was worried that we would follow the wrong crowd so we took a cab there eventually..
bags had to be checked before we enter the stadium itself.. supposedly that was to prevent peeps from smuggling in video cams.. notice that i used the word supposedly.. you shall know why later.. after our bags were checked, we went to find our seats.. that was when i discovered why our tickets cost 150 bucks each.. we found our block and since our row was number 5, we walked down the stairs to get to our row..

and down..

and down..

and further down.. our seats were like only a few metres away from the stage.. rough estimation would be about 6 to 7 metres.. since the first and second rows were unoccupied, we were in the third row!!!
the concert started at about 9 although the tix said 8.. it was worth the wait though.. the music for yi fu zhi ming started playing and the crowd went crazy.. jay descended from a chair that was hanging in midair in the middle of the stage.. so shuai!!! oh my god.. but i still prefer his opening for the concert 2 years ago.. he came onto the stage (sitting on a chair again) from a hole in the middle, singing ban shou ren.. anyway, i see people with vid cams all around me trying to film the concert that night.. so much for checking of the bags..
as the stage was situated in the middle of the crowd, jay had to walk around the stage all the time so no one had to look at his back view all the time.. i have to say that cs and i were very fortunate to get our seats cos jay was facing our direction most of the time.. jay is so shuai!!! when he walked to our side of the stage, i realised that that was actually jay that i was looking at.. in the face (yes i can see his face very very clearly) instead of some magazine pin-up.. *drools and faints*
i cant remember the songs in sequence but he certainly picked a good combination of songs for the night.. here are the songs(not in order)

hei se you mo long juan feng ba wo hui lai le jian dan ai kai bu liao kou an jing long quan ye ye pao de cha hui dao guo qu zui hou de zhan yi yi fu zhi ming qing tian dong feng po ni ting de dao ta de jie mao ti tian shuang dao qi li xiang jie kou jiang jun ge qian luan wu chun qiu yuan you hui zhi zhan zhi shang

i would like to mention that i love the way he sang long juan feng and kai bu liao kou.. especially the latter.. he sang these songs at his previous concert too and the way he sang it is completely the same in both concerts.. theres an additional part at the end where he sang the songs in a very different tune.. very nice and the tune is simply unforgettable..
*hums*

there were other songs that he sang that were originally sung by other artistes.. so overall.. he sang a lot of songs.. definitely worth the money.. guest stars were nan quan ma ma and wen lan..
nan quan ma ma put up a good performance for the night (xiang cao ba bu and xiao shi hou).. wen lan's voice was not as strong compared to all the guys but.. shes hot!! the way she shakes her body when she dance is just so hot.. no wonder no one went for a toilet break when she was singing.. i can still remember the way everyone went for a toilet break unanimously when it was rui en's turn to sing at jay's previous concert in singapore..

im happy with how i spent my 150 bucks.. the concert was really enjoyable except the part where 2 china fans behind us cheered so hard that they hit our (cs and me) heads with their lightsticks @_@..

the last song for the concert was qi li xiang.. by that time i had already abandoned cs and my seat and i was standing right in front of the stage with other die-hard fans.. the amplifiers were right in front of us and the sound was loud enough to do some serious damage to the ear drums but we didnt mind one bit.. jay walked towards our side of the audience and we simply went mad.. the distance between my idol and i was only about 2 metres apart!!!! i can see his xi beh shuai face so DARN clearly!!! i cant believe i was looking at jay in the face at such a close distance =) *drools* i can even see his fingers clearly.. i think jay's fingers has got to be the best looking fingers in the world.. i loved his fingers since i saw one of his old music vids from the first album(cant remember which song was it but its the one where he sat in the middle with two pianos by his side.. his fingers were so long and beautiful and he played the piano so gracefully).. a close up of his god damn beautiful fingers can also be seen in the vid for an jing (the bandage thingy).. for people who have no access to his music vids, just take a look at his CD cover for the yeh hui mei album.. so nice..

overall.. i enjoyed both his concerts.. both concerts were very different from each other so its a different experience altogether.. ive made up my mind and im definitely going to his next concert in singapore =).. worth the money..

we left the stadium after the concert and we got lost =(.. we got lost in geylang of all places.. the place was so horrible that i wouldnt step in there even if you paid me to.. full of low class looking hotels with dimly lit lobbys.. there were scantily clad women standing outside the hotels.. with disgusting looking guys staring at their chests and butts as they walked past.. im sure most of those disgusting uncles are married with kids.. one horrible uncle who looks like a pug (the dog in MIB the movie) stared at me (not at my face of course) when cs and i walked past him.. i really felt like punching the living daylights out of him at that very moment.. *fumes*

cs and i walked frantically street after street before we hopped onto a cab.. nv felt so relieved at the sight of a cab before.. there was a heavy downpour on our journey home but the driver still sped.. i cant even see the road in front of us and yet the driver is driving so fast.. i stole a glance at the speed meter(or whatever you call it since i know nothing about cars) and the driver was driving at around 100km/h.. 100 on a normal day is fine but its killer speed on a rainy day.. everything was a yellow blur (the streetlights) on the journey.. i was holding onto cs's hand so tightly that my palm went clammy.. my heartbeat was so fast throughout the journey that i felt so giddy when the cab finally stopped at my block.. horrible ride *faints*..

theres still so much that i want to blog about but im too sleepy to blog now.. i guess i shall continue tomorrow morning.. zzZZZzzzz...
