listening to pan wei bo - wuha

looks like im really free to be able to blog daily recently.. but then i really got stuff i want to talk about..

***

an 8 year old boy came into the lab today to have his blood glucose measured.. "DM?" was written under the diagnosis column on his form..

how freaky.. 8 years old.. so young..

his whole family (maid lah.. auntie lah.. mum and dad lah.. grandma lah..) accompanied him right into the lab to have his teeny weeny finger pricked..

i dont know why but i happen to be alone (don understand why its always like that during a crisis) in the lab at that time..

so i tried to smile as innocently as i can while chasing him around the lab with the purple finger pricker and glucometer..

that boy whacked his grandma and maid.. cried his heart out.. ran into the ECG room and out.. his dad had to volunteer to be pricked by me to show how harmless it was.. i had to sugar coat my voice (stupidly disgusting) to talk to him.. his dad had to promise to buy him new PS2 games (even that didnt help)..

it was all so... drama..

finally.. his dad grabbed his finger forcefully while i pricked him..

after all the drama.. im actually glad that the boy has a normal blood glucose level.. phew..

cant imagine how it would be to be stuck with DM (stands for diabetes mellitus by the way) at the age of 8..
