Dead tired

listening to x japan - the last song

work is tiring (today is only my second day)..

its really very different from just being there for attachment as a student.. i've got to make phone calls to wards on my first day at work and honestly, its stressful..

tubes sent up without blood inside (xibeh geh yan right?)

tubes with no labels

forms with no tubes (vice versa)

tubes sent up with a form thats not ticked (anna said its ticked in invisible ink. plus, how did the doctor know which tubes to use since the form was not ticked? another geh yan case. )

people who insist on sending citrate tubes for FBC ( happened thrice, from the same ward)

all this in my first day of work..

was reading the posters for tests on the notice board and i noticed something very farny about the 'allergy panel'.. cockroach was included as one of the allergens..

i wonder how they produce the xiao qiang allergen for the test..

imaging telling people 'im allergic to xiao qiang' (and its not a joke)..

im learning new stuff everyday (today, i found out never to put your hand anywhere near the new pneumatic tube system when the red light is lit.. they aint joking when they say its working on the principle of high air pressure.. i got a swollen thumb to prove it)..

interesting..

but the job is physically and mentally draining..

i hope i can survive.
