Weekend is nearing

tml is the graduation dinner / staff appreciation dinner / annual D&D (whatever the staff calls it)..

and i bet im going to be gloomy because I AM GOING TO MISS ONE EPISODE OF SURVIVOR.

anyway.. work has been fine.. i still think its super tiring though.. thats not going to change i guess..

cecelia told me i might get 'hauled' to her lab because one of the staff is going on maternity leave soon.. she already told dr saw.. awaiting approval..

im happy that she chose me (i didnt know anything beforehand)..

*fingers crossed*

things are getting interesting at the lab anyway..

saw 21 tubes being sent up in a single batch yesterday, all from a single patient.

kudos to the person who drew the blood. *kowtows*

read an article from the newspaper that made me pretty upset..

its in chinese.. i shall loosely translate it to english here.. sorry for the powderful english but i cant possibly type in chinese.. itll take me forever..

the article had a small picture of an old man followed by the text below..

do you know the old man in the picture?

his name is kok hong meng, 81 years old, was sent to alexandra hospital on the 1st of feb to receive treatment. he was hospitalised for 2 weeks and he passed away 2 weeks later, on the 16th of feb at 6:30am.

police have said that the deceased's last known address was at a elderly home located at marsiling drive. he has been in the home since 1996 and has been staying there for 11 years, up til his death.

family of the deceased is to call the number 1800-2550000 to contact the investigating officer.

i dont know.. this kind of news usually affects me pretty badly..

ive been feeling kinda weird since i read the article..

i hope his family will do something when they see the article..
