Listening to 陶喆 - 二十二
I realised that i actually have a meaningful job when i look beyond the immature colleagues (the ones who drill holes into your back when ure not watching) and the retarded doctors.
i shall explain the part about my job being meaningful later.
a fine example of a retarded doctor came to the lab this afternoon. she pressed the bell and everyone ignored her. being the *ahem* nice person i am (actually i got no choice. i was nearest to the door), i attended to her.
the fucker gave me a once-over and asked to speak to someone more senior.
i imagined myself giving her the finger while i trudged to find that someone who is more senior to speak to her.
ended up that its a case of sample verification.
i thought she discovered a way to reduce our turnaround time to 10 seconds or something.
someone more senior. pui.
i prolly could have entertained myself for a good half an hour if i were to scrunch up the verification forms that ive done so far and throw it at her one by one.

now about why i think my job is meaningful.
sometimes, the sad cases make me appreciate how fortunate i am.
