Listening to Goo Goo Dolls - Slide
Only a few people whom ive confided in will know what im talking about
An evil thought flashed across my mind while i was doing the repeat.. again and again at all the steps that i could possibly have done something to save my own ass..
smth like this happened to a dear friend of mine too not long ago.
your own ass and a life. which one will you choose to save?
this qn would have been a no brainer to me months ago. i seriously wonder what the fear of trouble has done to my conscience. and whether i still have any of that left in me.
while i was glad to have a friend who understood how i felt because she went through the exact same situation.. i think 我们都堕落了 (although we both did the right thing in the end).
comparing student days to now.. i wonder what the hell has happened to us.
how to be future law enforcers like that?
***
have been driving my joints/back/calves to exhaustion these days.. running my lungs out.
doesnt take the guilt out of me. not one bit.
i think i need more time to clear this emotional trauma.
***
the incident hasnt turned me into a lump of shit though. i still laugh at funny things, i still throw myself into work.. even though the more one does, the more mistakes one makes.
i suppose the fear of trouble hasnt given me an excuse not to work as hard. yet.
***
speaking of funny stuff..
i told a friend that im not intending to watch this season's survivor and he said the world is coming to an end.
i told my mum the same thing and she told me to give her 4 digits. because she is going to strike the lottery soon.
i told her i think ill reserve the 4 digits til the day i decide to stop watching prison break.
she laments that she wont get a chance to have a windfall then... seeing how i drool while watching wentworth miller on thursday nights.
lol.

i think my off days are the only days where i have a heart rate of less than 60 and B.P of less than 100/60.
my body used to run in slow-mo mode 24/7. i dont think it still does judging from the stress level at my workplace.
can u imagine? in the past, my heartrate can never exceed 110 per minute. even when im huffing and puffing like im dying while running.
i think my aorta is on the verge of bursting whenever i hear someone yell G86 right now.
G86 is my labo system ID.
reminds me of something funny. this happened the other day.
***
SL : E33 and G86. talk talk talk. dont need to work ah?
machiam prisoners.
***
she meant it in a joking manner of cos. if not i wont find it funny already.
anyway, we were not gossiping or anything. discussing about what the nephrons do to creatinine in our body. work related conversation eh.. see how passionate we are about the job.
which brings me to another thing. the million dollar question a student asked while i was giving them their tutorial. no one knows what the answer is.
only person i havent tried asking is the big boss.
anw.. the question.. something to think about..
Why is it that in patients with renal failure, creatinine urine goes down unlike albumin urine, which goes up? Theoretically, if the glomeruli isnt functioning anymore, it should let whatever junk in the blood come out in the urine right? What is so special about creatinine?
if you know the answer, let me know.
