柯有纶 - 两败俱伤

having a horrible headache thats stuck with me the moment i woke up this morning.. feels like someone is drilling at my skull with a jackhammer. i fell asleep on the floor with my head propped up against the coffee table (what a pose -_-) while watching tv. now my neck hurts too. great.

coldroom in the lab is currently under renovation.. i wonder how cecilia takes it with the coldroom just beside special chemistry. it says in the minutes of last meeting that the work will be "loud".

what can i say. loud is definitely an understatement. deafening might be more appropriate.

today is payday. the mid year bonus and the pay rise reminds me of the reason why im still slogging in the lab. hate to admit it but its kind of worth it. not enough to buy all the things i want but its enough to treat gramps and mum (and jialing too!) to smth nice and maybe get a new chair.

the one that im sitting on right now has both of its gigantic black screws on my desk. the backrest goes down all the way since the screws are already gone. which also means that my ass can go crashing on the floor anytime.

the roster next month is out.. either pigs have learnt to fly or the neon pink moon showed up yesterday night cos it a record breaking early release. had a glance through it this morning..

looks decent enough to my 7am groggy state of mind.
